With its innovative convenience features, the U-Pack® - a pre-converted side gusseted bag from Bischof + Klein – is a real trendsetter. The latest development from B+K, together with APLIX, is a U-Pack® with the self-sealing APLIX hook system, in which two profiles engage in each other with high sealing force. Sealing is simple and reliable, and is carried out without having to bring two matching contours together precisely. This therefore makes opening and re-sealing a matter of simplicity. The sealing force varies depending on the system setting, with the result that diverse dry products (pet food, cereals, powder, baked goods, etc.) can be packaged both securely and easily accessibly.

One of the system's other major advantages is the fact that it can be installed all around in the upper area of the bag, with the result that the full opening cross-section is available for filling and subsequent removal.

Whilst the U-Pack® was originally designed with a capacity of 500 to 3000 grammes, it now has a volume of up to 18 kg and can be equipped with carrying handles and other convenience features such as punched holes for hanging up, corner sealing and easy opening functions as required. It is characterised by its high dimensional stability, outstanding stability and good complete emptying. Added to this is the U-Pack®'s outstanding presentation capability, as it can be provided with high-quality printing on five sides if required.
