 The B+K GROUP is a leading European full-service supplier of flexible plastic and paper packaging and technical films. It is represented around the world by a strong network of production plants and sales offices.
B+K employs around 2300 staff at six production plants in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Poland and Saudi Arabia. Some 1300 employees currently work at the headquarters in Lengerich; approximately 500 workers are employed at the Konzell plant in the Bavarian Forest.
The shareholders are the descendents of Alwin Klein, who founded "Papierfabrik und Prägeanstalt Bischof & Klein" together with Hermann Bischof in 1892. 40 percent of the company's stock were held by Sweden's Stora Billerud from 1984 to 1995 and by Austria's Mondi Packaging from 1995 to 2007.
The company has been 100% family-owned again since the beginning of 2007.
